Jeremy founded GLS Painters in 2009 while participating in an entrepreneurial workshop (Entrepreneur Works – Philadelphia, Pa). However, the dream of Jeremy being his own boss started many years prior while living in Atlanta, GA with his mother. He grew up watching his Mother paint, decorate and add colorful touches to their home. It was in their DNA, his maternal grandfather was a first class contractor in his own right, investing in real estate as well. Jeremy’s first job was at 10 years old working in a friends barber shop/hair salon sweeping up hair. While $5 a day and a few tips was big money for a 10 year old, he wanted more.
