South Jersey-Based GLS Painters to Hold Paint It Forward Charity Giveaway.
Local painting company to gift a local hero a complete exterior painting service; asking the community to nominate a deserving local recipient. This is a charity event in which a local nominee is selected to receive a free painting service. This charity event started in the Los Angeles area 15 years ago, by Josh Abramson of Allbright painting, and has grown nationwide. Now it’s our turn here in the Southern New Jersey area to bring it to our community!
GLS Painters announces its First Annual $8,000 Exterior Painting Giveaway. Paint It Forward is a national charitable program in which a deserving recipient is selected to receive a free painting service. GLS Painters, based in Berlin, NJ, is delighted to introduce this program locally for the first time. The painting company will collect nominations of local heroes and select one recipient to receive $8,000 in free paint, labor, and materials.

“Paint It Forward” is now a national initiative that began in the Greater Los Angeles area in 2005. The event has grown nationwide with the help of the Painting Contractors Association (PCA). GLS Painters will be the first painting company in South Jersey to launch their own Paint It Forward program.
Who can be nominated? Some front line workers were so busy during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic taking care of others that they didn’t have the time or energy to take care of their homes. Some single parents struggled with trying to school their children at home while having to work. Many lost loved ones and couldn’t tend to their home while caring for their loved ones or while grieving. Many businesses closed during the pandemic but many survived and even gave back or helped others during hard times. GLS Painters values these ones in the community and wants to lend a helping hand!
